Inks
Blown (Oxidized) Canola Oil
A bio-based replacement for oxidized fish oils in putties and caulking compounds.
Used in: Putties, caulking and glazing compounds, inks, plastics, soaps, cosmetics, biodiesel
Blown (Oxidized) Rapeseed Oil
A polar oil with strong pigment wetting and lubricity. Its affinity for water makes it a good additive for marine lubricants, and because it is non-drying it suits ribbon inks.
Used in: Marine lubricants, metalworking fluids, drawing and non-ferrous metal processing, release agents, emulsifiable oils, plasticizers, ribbon inks, pigments, paints and enamels
Blown (Oxidized) Soybean Oil
For alkyd resins, coatings and printing inks. Also a fixative for essential oils in insect repellents and a binder for aggregates and composites.
Used in: Alkyd resins, paints and coatings, printing inks, industrial and metalworking lubricants, binder for aggregates, dust control
Blown (Oxidized) Herring Oil
Made to your specification, for a wide range of industrial coatings and treatments.
Used in: Caulks, putties, sealants, leather tanning, paints, lacquers, varnishes, alkyds, nitrocellulose, resins, inks, rust-preventative coatings, surfactants, plasticizers
KB (Heat Polymerized) Soya Oil
Slow drying, which suits glazing compounds, caulks and putties. Also a vehicle for printing inks.
Used in: Glazing compounds, caulks, putties, printing inks, paints and coatings
KBB (Heat Polymerized and Blown) Menhaden Fish Oil
Used in: Caulking and glazing compounds, sealants, marine lubricants, paints, inks, soaps, greases, rust-inhibiting compounds
